VLC is an awesome app for playing songs. It's just missing some features from the desktop version (the Windows one, at least), like the "Shuffle playlist" button, to make sure the songs never repeat and you can resume a shuffled playlist without repeating files. Also, it would be nice if you could sort files by more than just the name, as it would make it easier to find a recently downloaded file in a huge list. The only other problem is that it doesn't show any files inside an FTP directory.

I sincerely give 5 🌟 since it's the best music and video app I've ever had. First it plays all types of videos no matter what resolution. Plus the audio output and equalizer are just on another level. The app has no ads unlike other apps. However some changes need to be made. For instance when you pause the audio, the player notification on the notification bar gets cleared on swiping. How I wish it was permanent.
